Ep 2: How to follow your intuition, not your mind, to save time and energy

Most of the time, our thoughts are what cause us a lot of stress. They have us running around like headless chickens taking unnecessary actions and causing drama and stress.

I think if we start talking about how the mind functions, how the intuition functions, and give you some examples of my learning around this, it will give us a better approach to follow our intuition, be aware of our negative thought and know not to take action on them and generally have less stress in the things that we do.

In this episode, I dive into:

  • Understanding the mind, how it wants to keep you safe, and why.

  • Exploring the ideas in Michael Singer’s book 'The Untethered Soul' https://untetheredsoul.com, about offsetting the mind with different thoughts and the concept of being the awareness in our lives.

  • An example from my life where I followed thoughts that weren’t helpful.

  • Why intuition can work differently for different people.

  • The importance of taking slow moments in your life.

I hope you find the learnings that I share in this episode helpful and it provides you with an insight into how your mind works and understand that from an intuitive perspective, the more we can quiet our minds, the more clarity we will have to make decisions for ourselves.
